“Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” Moreover David said, “The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the LORD be with you!” 1Sam 17:26-37.
David did not come to the battle field to fight Goliath. For him, Goliath was an unanticipated emergency. He had no physical weapon that could deal with an enemy of the magnitude of Goliath but there was something David carried everywhere he went. That is the confidence that with God, he could do all things.
From his past experiences, he had come to believe in God and also in himself. He was sure that if he put his life on the line, no matter the situation, his God will not disappoint. David never allowed the magnitude of the battle to overwhelm or intimidate him. Since the God in him is greater than all things, his belief was that he was greater than all things no matter how fearful and formidable they were.
It is true that God can do all things. But He will do nothing in the life of a man who never sees possibilities. A man who does not trust himself will never be able to trust God.
For a man to position himself for receiving great things from God, he must be able to see beyond the frightening circumstances of his life. Anyone who is overwhelmed by the trouble on ground will never believe in the unlimited ability of God.
God is not only able to do miracles; He has the unlimited ability and the unalloyed willingness to do it in the lives of His children. But there is only one thing that can limit God; it is your inability to see beyond your trouble.
A man who will receive the supernatural miracles of God must not be under the control of natural information. If what you are seeing is what is moving you, you will miss a lot of the divine provisions for your life.
Beloved, do you know that you are more than the current challenge in your life? Do you realise that the trouble you are going through is an opportunity for God to honour Himself in your life? Has it ever occurred to you that you had passed through difficult times before in your life and you did not die then? Where is the God who stood with you in those days? He did not fail you then, why don’t you believe that He will not fail you now? Of what use is your weeping and lamenting when you can call upon God and trust in Him? The more you weep, the happier the devil becomes over your case. Raise your right hand wherever you are and say aloud seven times “I will make it in Jesus name”.
Receive your miracles now in Jesus name.
Your Goliath will come down; your “wall of Jericho” will collapse and there will be a way in your “Red Sea” in Jesus name.
That terrible situation of today will turn to a sweet story for you very soon in Jesus name. As the Lord lives, before whom I stand, the verdict of the enemy will never stand in your life in Jesus name.
I don’t know who the Lord is sending me to minister to this moment. If you are the one, be sure, the days of your testimonies are closer than you can ever imagine. It will surely happen in Jesus name.
Have a blessed day.
